We will find Winning formula – Chale

It's not been a good week for African Lyon F.C. who have been getting a lot of stick in the local media, about their lack of results, despite being dominant in games.

Speculations range from dressing room problems to changes in technical bench and even discipline of players, but all said and done, African Lyon F.C. have to come out stronger and start registering points on the board.

Coach Chale blamed the recent losses on bad luck, and expects the team to perform well in the last three games before the Christmas break.

“We need to pick up a few points and go into the break away from the relegation zone, and build up some momentum over the break, so that when we come out we can be motivated to win games early on” said Chale.

Chale also said he expected that the management will have appointed a head coach by then and he could get over 80-90 days to prepare the team, Chale also did not rule out some Christmas shopping for players over the break.

“I expect the arrival of a new coach, I have no idea who he is or will be, but he would definitely get my full support, I will evaluate the team for him prior and tell him what the problems are, and this would might in some Christmass shopping for new players, it seems some of our players have lost focus, and they will go I am sure” said Chale.

Jumanne Chale has been with the team for over a year, and he guided the team to an unbeaten run for promotion in the First Division, and made the understudy of former coach Eduardo Almeida who however lasted 4 games at the helm.

“My players have no dressing room problems or discipline problems, we are new in the league, our players are all very young, and this was expected our main aim was survival in the first season, but I can assure you we wont be at the bottom for longer, our management has done a tremendous job, in making sure we are provided with all we need” said Chale.

Chale said the team understands the seriousness of the current position, but remained short of calling it crises, and said the going has been tough, but good times are coming.
